Essential, a drawing restraint. For me, this has been about time. In each instance, I’ve timed myself in the physical act of wrapping wood with string. The aesthetic is a result of this frenzied process; less thoughtful, more of-the-moment. The works them- selves are handcrafted wooden boxes strung in colored yarn & twine. The name of each piece is how long it took to physically string each one. This is an interpretation of FIXED, to repair. A femur bone is modeled and 3D printed. It becomes a replacement leg for the table.
